500K MRR to zero because of one decision...
Nothing even changed in the product...

I have a friend who was doing 500K MRR until one decision wiped the whole thing out.
He had a great product, very solid ops, and his growth was moving in the right direction…
Then they listened to the wrong advice, and everything stopped.
Nothing changed in the product.
The customers didn't disappear.
They just tried to "optimize" what wasn't broken.
When we caught up last week, he told me something that stuck…
"Switching partners will go down as the biggest mistake I have ever made."
Then he paused and said, "The next one would have to be massive to top it."
That conversation reminded me of what I saw with Rebel Rabbit before we rebuilt their system.
Rebel Rabbit was stuck at the same revenue number for months.
Meta campaigns? A mess.
Random ads running with zero strategy behind them.
Google? Barely touched.
Just sitting there collecting dust while Meta did all the heavy lifting.
Everyone kept saying "next month will be better" like the business was going to fix itself…
It didn't.
We came in and rebuilt the entire funnel from scratch.
Meta started doing its actual job and Google picked up everyone Meta warmed up but didn't convert.
Three months later, they hit $1M+ in revenue.
Look, most founders don't realize how thin the margin is between momentum and collapse.
You can be killing it one quarter and fighting for survival the next, all because you tried to fix something that was already working.
That's where my friend is stuck.
For now, not forever.
The right system can pull you out.
The wrong advice can put you in the hole.
